HyperTherapy
An RMT had a Wix website that didn't even show up when you Googled his practice name. I redesigned his entire brand, rebuilt his website with proper SEO and HTML semantics, then went further — built him a full PHIPA-compliant SaaS platform that replaced every tool he was paying for. Booking, charting, SMS reminders, referral tracking, automated marketing, and an AI-powered blog — all from scratch.
Visit Live Site →01The Challenge
Ken is an RMT with a loyal clientele and a reputation for premium, professional service — but his digital presence told a completely different story. His Wix website looked generic, felt off-brand, and worst of all: Googling his practice name didn't even return his site. The problem wasn't just aesthetics. His HTML had no semantic structure, no meta tags, no schema markup. His fonts and color choices were failing accessibility standards — which most people don't realize directly costs you Google ranking points. Many assume a 'good-looking website' is enough, but SEO lives in the code: heading hierarchy, alt text, contrast ratios, page speed, mobile responsiveness. Ken's site failed on all of them. On top of that, he was using ClinicSense for booking, manually reminding clients about appointments, manually reaching out to potential partners, and had no system for referrals or repeat engagement. He wanted to grow — eventually hire other practitioners — but his tools couldn't scale and his online presence was invisible.
02Approach
Fix discoverability first
Rebuilt the website from scratch with proper HTML semantics — correct heading hierarchy, schema markup, meta descriptions, OpenGraph tags, alt text on every image, and a sitemap. Chose fonts and colors that pass WCAG AA contrast ratios, because accessibility isn't just ethical — Google penalizes you for failing it. Cleaned up and optimized his Google Business Profile with accurate categories, service descriptions, and consistent NAP data.
Redesign for the brand Ken actually is
Ken's practice is premium and professional, but his Wix site looked like every other generic template. Redesigned the entire brand identity — Inter typography, black-and-white premium aesthetic, section numbering, bento grids, pill CTAs — to match the caliber of service his clients already experience in person.
Build a platform, not just a website
Ken didn't just need a new website — he needed a business system that could scale. Built a full PHIPA-compliant SaaS platform: online booking with Stripe payments, SOAP note charting, automated SMS reminders (Twilio, CASL-compliant), email notifications (Resend), a client portal with appointment history and saved health info, and a referral program with credit tracking. Everything Ken was doing manually is now automated.
Automate the marketing engine
Set up an automated blog powered by AI that publishes SEO-optimized content on a regular schedule — signaling to Google that the site is active and authoritative. Combined with the GBP optimization and proper on-page SEO, this creates a compounding discoverability loop that grows without manual effort.
Design for scale from day one
Ken wants to eventually bring on more practitioners. The platform architecture supports multi-practitioner scheduling, per-practitioner service assignments, and role-based admin access — so when he's ready to hire, the system is already built for it.

06What I Learned
This project crystallized something I'd felt since my e-commerce days: most people think 'good design' means 'looks pretty.' But a beautiful website that Google can't find is a billboard in a forest. The real craft is in the invisible layer — the HTML semantics, the accessibility scores, the page speed, the schema markup. Design that doesn't ship with SEO baked in is only half-finished. That insight became the foundation for how I approach every project now: design and discoverability are the same discipline.
